Born on a nursing ward
As a pediatric intensive care nurse, Antonia experienced the painful effects of constant handwashing, which left her hands cracked, sore, and bleeding. Recognizing that this issue affected nearly all healthcare workers, she and her husband Jonny set out to develop a solution.
Over the course of seven years, they worked alongside British nurses, laboratories, and Newcastle Science City to create Nursem - a hand cream that is both effective and natural, designed for frequent use during long shifts. Their goal was to provide a product that could help soothe and protect hardworking hands in demanding environments.
